Just sent in my intent to run form this morning. Coming all the way from Canada to enjoy 8 hours at the track! Looking forward to it. Both Derek and I are coming so look for the red and the white ITB Golfs! See you there!

Any news on a test day on Friday?

    Cheers,

Canada! That's a long haul. I think you'll find it worth the trip. The track runs testdays before SCCA events for $200. One can usually get in 5 - 6, 20 min. sessions. In addition, for this event there will be a 30 min night practice on Fri.

    Jay -

John & I are probably bringing the dreaded black Nissan, if it survives yet another 12 Hour at Summit Point, two weeks before that. Our standard offer to share crew/pits/nitro/etc. still stands. VIR enduro info below:

BTW - thanks for the tire help at the Summit Point Nat'l two weeks ago. Didn't see you post-race, but I ended up parking it early with bashed radiator/nose-work, got tangled up in somebody else's spin. Oh well...NEXT ??????

This is going to be our first long (More than two hours) race. I think we will run in the dark for about an hour and a half. We run a 1st gen RX-7. Any tips?

    John,

maybe we'll see you at VIR...we just did the 12 hour @ homestead. we had some brake problems which put us out for a few hours while we located more parts...we ended up going thru all of our spares and then some. wasn't bad..we finished.

i was wondering what happened to you at summit...i saw a few cars got some damage...oh well that's how it goes...like you said...NEXT

i'll be working the summit 12 hour..this year. maybe we can work something out for VIR..i have a few drivers interested in doing it and i haven't been on that track so we would love to come and play. thanks for the entry info

I'll be there co-driving a 944. I'm looking forward to it, this will be my first time there.
