    Default WTB SMALL CRANK PULLEY

Does anyone out there know of a smaller 2.3L Pinto crank pulley that will clear a oversize Esslinger water pump pulley? Seams like I remember Racer Walsh using a 200 cu" 6 cylinder pulley at one time as mandated by FoMoCo. Help me out guys. DICK

    Dick,

May I remind you that the smaller crank pulley is illegal in IT, except for a rotary?

I've argued agains't this with SCCA, but to no avail...even though the logic of their position escapes me.

    Good racing.

Sorry, I just realized that I didn't answer your original question.

As I recall, you should be able to "doctor" the pulley off of a 2.0 Liter Capri (smaller in diameter than the one on the Pinto...yes the motors are identical except for the oil pan). I think I did this about ten years ago.

    Good racing.
