Default Poor running Fiesta Fixed- Thanks!!

A while back I had a post concerning my Fiesta ITC/open track car that wouldn't rev over 3000 rpm. I followed through with the myriad of excellent suggestions, but with little luck. Then I finally drained ALL the gas using my electric fuel pump and replaced it with fresh gas- PRESTO! Revs eagerly to 5200 rpm redline. This car sat non-running in the previous owner's yard for 4 years prior to my purchase, and although I drained out MOST of the gas, apparently that last gallon or so was crappy, even thought there was no obvious water/crap in the fuel. Just one more thing to check out if you car has sat a while. Thanks to everyone for their help.

You still seem to be missing about 1000rpm.
With a Stock cam, mine didn't quit pulling until 6200.

If I told you mine pulls to 6800, would you believe me?

Actually, it will rev well past 5200- I was using this as a redline as this was suggested by a number of those replying to an earlier post of mine.

    Thanks, Marc
