Default Rear sway bar question for Mustang

I am going to Road Atlanta. First real race in teh new car. First time on the track at Road Atlanta.

I just put on a stock Mustang GT rear sway bar. Good call or Bad call? The car did not have one and the previous owner says the car was faster with out it. What say you?

at sebring i have found that on my 87 hatchback mustang no rear sway bar meant a bad push, i put on a heavy rear sway bar and she went just slighty loose. i do like the loose feeling better. good luck at atlanta.

Thanks. That is the opposite of what I thought it would do. I may try to run with it then without it just to see.
