    Default questions on ITB mustang

The ITB bustangs from 79-93 can have the 2.3L engine in the lx, but my question is can I run an SVO mustang which is the turbocharged 2.3L?

I might be wrong, but I don't believe that forced induction of any type is allowed in IT classes.

No forced induction of any kind is allowed in IT...even "Ram Air".

The RX-7 is allowed with normal aspiration, only.

You guess right. But even if it wasn't "ram air," you cannot remove a headlight in IT.

You might be able to run in ITE, as I've seen other turbo based cars run.

Actually, using an opening from a headlight does not constitute "ram air", as defined in the GCR, unless the opening at the headlight has an "...extension onto the airstream". Just had to add that, Joe, since I'd "been there, done that".
