Porterfield if you have the $$, PF if you don't. I've heard good things about Carbotech, but have not tried them myself.

    HTH.

I ran a set of Carbotech Panther Plus last weekend on a '99 Mustang GT street car in an HPDE at Kershaw (Carolina Motorsports Park). They worked very well, with a lot of grip, but low initial bite until they got up to temp (only 150 deg F), maybe a quarter second at the start of a session, and zero by a couple of laps in. They seem to be pretty friendly to the rotors, too. I'm taking them off for street use, though, because they generate a lot more dust than the stock pads.

I 've running Carbotech Panther Plus on my Escort. I also have great grip, and they seem to be lasting quite a while.

I also run the Carbotech Panther Plus. Almost 1400miles on the set (fronts) on the medium braking track....and rotors wore 0.3mm (.012")...Sorry folks, but I run a Rx7
