    Default ITB Mustang For Sale

I'm looking for an ITB Mustang if anyone is interested in selling theirs. Will take anything from a roller to one partially built to a complete turn key car. Does anyone know of anybody who is selling one? Jon

    Hey Doug,
Don't panic, I still have the Escort GT and will be racing that this year. I'm looking for a friend of mine to get him a car. He wants to start SCCA racing and has alot of background in dirt late model and ARCA. He is getting old like me and has basically retired but loves to go with me and now has decided to get himself a car to play with and have fun while he watches his son take the USAC fast track through sprint cars. Later.

Look at SCCA on e-bay, There was a mustang IT-B on there a couple days ago. Also try road racing on e-bay. Both sites have SCCA type cars and parts for sale. Also try the various mustang web sites.

The car in question has been re-listed. I've seen it run, but not since early last year. You can check it out here.

BTW, I don't know the car, the driver or anything, just passing along info.

Yes, Joe, Win and I are looking at Bill's car very seriously and also at the car listed on ebay in NC. We also have three other Mustangs which would be good places to start, but Win is really looking for a car that he doesn't have to do too much to right off the bat. He works enough on his Silver Crown car and his son's karts that he wants a car that is ready to go with only minor stuff to do. I think Win will pick one of the cars in the next week or so. I'll let you know which one he goes with. If it is indeed Bill's car, we will be heading up in your direction (I have no idea where Bill lives other than western NY). My car is getting the final finishes now and I'll put it on the alignment rack Friday and then corner weights and look out CenDiv (that's you, Travis) because I'll be ready to take Rotem's spot this year! Later.

Shameless plug for Bill's car here. He came down last year to Daytona to race with us (pictures on my site as proof) after we had met here on the forum. They ran a professional operation, the car was well-mannered for never being at Daytona before, and although they use a carb (nobody's perfect) the car seemed to run well and do well throughout most of the race. Their times were close to mine, and although I was having my own troubles that day, they surely would have given me a run on a good day had they had more experience at the big "D". I'd buy it if I wasn't building from the ground up and needed a car quick. Take that for what it's worth...

Hey, thanks for the input Marcello. I think Win has made up his mind, but I'm not at liberty to say here (mainly because I don't know!). I've run against Bill at Nelson Ledges and he made me eat dust the whole weekend. His car is awesome no doubt. Anyway, thanks for your two cents!

Will the yellow look different in the rear view mirror? I keep having dreams that Rotem will take the EP car and slap an ITB on the side.

Remember the super loose morning in October? They had Chris as an SSC so we went to check and make sure they fixed it and we saw those practice times. I was 2nd quick with a low 52 and Chris was like a tenth off - Rotem was like 2+ seconds faster. They just knew how to tweak that thing for any condition and he knew how to drive it.

It will be great to have another make model out there (Volvo, VW, Fiat, Ford, BMW). Really has to be one of the most diverse and competitve ITB groups in the country.

Don't worry, Travis, the yellow looks the same from both ends of the car . I definitely agree with the diversity and the competetiveness and I also agree with the nightmares about Rotem's EP car. I hope this year we have any one of a half a dozen guys that can win on any given day. Should be a fun year.
