2.3 liter

Are the 2.3 liter ford engines you find in the Mustangs the same 2.3 you would find in the older Ford Tempos? Anything different?

Doug--It is a completely different motor. The Tempo is the "HSC", built for transverse installations.

They are actually derived from the straight six that was in the Ford Falcon back in the 60's I used to have a Topaz and the thing would would fall on its face at about 4k RPM's......
