I ran the 4.36 in my S13 12 valve when I had it. I used 225/45 15 tires everywhere except Daytona. I used the 225/50 15's there to keep the rpm's out of the "valvetrain destruction" zone. I know of a couple of 16 valve S13's that are running the 4.36 also. It seems to be the right gear at most of the Southeast tracks.

I have both and run both depending on the track. Keep in mind I run RS not ITS. I testted the 4.63 just before the end of the season and I will say this. If the track will allow you to use it then it is a must. If you can only afford one unit to start then buy the 4:37....PS if you are look for a complete 4:37 let me know I may have one forsale soon.

PPS. Something else to consider is 5th gear. I have busted 3 layshafts right behind the center plate all 3 times I was lucky to have a gear I could pull in 4th by lifting lightly on the front section. I do feel as we make HP that the 5th gear section of the layshaft is going to become an issue.
