    Default 510 competitive in ITC?

You see a lot of VW's and Honda's with the occasional Fiesta and 510 thrown in here in the Northeast...

Can a well built 510 run up front? Honda's seem to dominate the ARRC...

I'm still working on it getting a cam superceded but that just a couple of hp. Bad Al Bell is the best 510 driver in the SW and is still quicker I hear at tracks where handling and not Hp is superior. He's a fantastic driver with tons of seat time giving it 110%.
I'm experimenting with the late 73 motor that was rated at 100 hp. It had bigger valves, intake ports, three angle intake, more cam lift, bigger carb flange ports for more air flow, '73 had less dished in the pistons (mine are custom forged), $800 custom 5# pressure plate, Burns Stainless Tri-Y header engineered adjustable merge collector with megaphone. A real die-hard 510er never gives up just continues to look for more ways to make it faster and is willing to drive them that much harder.
