Default 245 Hoosiers on 240SX rear?

Has anyone ever tried/seen this done? I've come across a used set of 2-225s and 2-245s that can probably be had for <$200, but wasn't sure if I could stuff the 245s under the rear.

    Thanks

    Earl,
I'm pretty sure they will fit, but I'm not sure I would do it. If they are 245/45's, that is alot of tire to squeeze onto a 7 inch wheel. The 225/45 Hoosiers are already wider than the 7 inch wheels. You would probalby have to take on a few different settings (pressure, align, etc) to compensate. If they are 245/50's, then they will be taller than the fronts, changing the attitude and balance of the car. By the time you got it set-up right, you would probably be done with those tires. If you planned to stay with that size rear tire, it might be ok. If not, you would then have to start over again when you ut the 225's back on the rear. Maybe buy just the fronts, or work a trade with the 245's

    Jim
