Default KA24 only showing 30psi fuel

Looks like that's our problem with not pulling the top gears. The cam timing was spot-on (boy am I lucky).
Not sure which way to go about it at this point, but I'm thinking the pickup may be clogged.
    Gonna look into pump replacement/upgrades.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Michael

Before you replace the pump, check the regulator. You can "deadhead" the fuel system by pinching the fuel return line hose shut with the pump running. If the pressure goes up significantly(should go past FSM values) replace the reg. Also a quick check is to see if there is any fuel in the vacuum line going to the reg.

Sorry but I have to say check the filter and fuel sample port also.

    Thanks MK for those ideas.
Hadn't thought about clamping down on the return line, gotta try that.
That would suck if my brand new Fuel Sample Port wasn't functioning correctly as a pressure port; I hope that's not the case.
Really though, I think I bungled the fuel pickup when I replaced the fuel tank and put the pump back in.
    More info tomorrow hopefully.
    Thanks,
    Michael
