    Default VG30E, HELP!

Anyone ever work on a VG30E? I need some info on where to find bigger pistons, cams, etc.?

What kind of horsepower could we expect out of this engine? Torque?

    Any help would be welcome.

Lawrence, Your best bet for the VG30E is to get a set of rods and forged pistons for a later model VG30DE Like out of 90-96 300ZX n/a. As far as cams go, Nissan offers the european cams that have 10 degrees more duration and about .010" more lift. Also, Schnieder(sp?) Racing cams can reground your old ones to a maximum of .490 lift and 20 degrees more duration, I think. There are also headers availible for that engine too.

To find out the most info on the VG30 go to www.z31.com and look under the mods section.

    Happy Racing, -Aaron
