    Default 2nd Gen. 510

Is anyone running a 2nd generation 510 in IT and is the car competitive? I road rallied one years ago and wondered what IT class it runs in and would it be worthwhile considering for IT.

I asked the question a few months back and got no response. There are lots of good parts for the car and it does make reasonable power(105hp) according to the Nissan web site.So the question is has anyone built one and run it any where. Not to my knowledge. I believe it would be a good car.

Why not build one? L20B motor. '78-'81. Had a 5 speed in 1981, but with NAPA Z 2.0 engine. Had veeeery bad brakes. I had 2 street cars. 4 link rear and mac front.

I saw one a couple of years ago running at the Memphis school. Not sure, but I think I remember it being from that region, or the St. Louis region. As the guys stated above, you have the choice of either engine, plus the coil over rear end (still solid axle). Some guys say that you can get more HP out of the Naps Z motor. But I doubt that you are going to be more than mid pack with that car.
