    Default E30 325i underdrive pulleys

Does anyone know where I can purchase underdrive pulleys for my E30 325i?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Try Apex Engineering. I don't think they're listed on their site, but I believe they have them.

nice pulleys, but, per gcr you must use stock crank pulleys. those are a sick bird (illegal) good racing

I can replace the pulleys on the alt, ps, and waterpump. What I'd like to do is get pulleys that are offset so I would be able to use one of the smaller diameter grooves on the crank pulley. I can make a spacer for the water pump pulley and drive it with the same belt as the power steering. That would leave the alt as the only thing on the large diameter groove of the crank pulley. I guess I could weld a second pully onto the exiting altenator pulley and then the alt, ps, and waterpump would all be driven by the same belt.

Zracer22, I like your idea of moving the drive belt to the smaller front pulley. Have you had any luck in finding offset pulleys?

Did a machine shop make the spacer for you?

I know of places that can make custom pulleys, if I had the specs.

BTW this is for my ICSCC EIP / SCCA EP e30, we are allowed to run anything for pullies and I need to slow down the ALT I broke 2 this last weekend. Plus the HP gain.

    djsmith:

Do you have the contact info for the custom pulley shop? If I send them the original alt/ps/water pulleys can they fab a set of x% underdrives?

BTW -- Those E30 cage pics @ Apex Engineering are sweet. Love the main hoop to rear subframe pickup braces!
