    Default Tires

Has anybody tried to run the Hoosier 245-50-15 tire on a second gen?

Wondering if this presented a fender clearance issue or not? Also, would this tire pass the "talcum powder test?"

A little wider footprint might be worth a test...

    benspeed,

No. But I had the Hooiser 245/50 x 15s on the rear of my 914/6 GT-3 car (fender flairs and factory fuchs wheels and ruined the inside sidewall on the trailing arms in two laps.

These tires are like the Goodyear race tires with a lot of cantilever, hence they require a lot off side clearance.

I have a RX-7 Gen II ITS car and I don't think a Hoosier 245/50 will fit without fenderwork. I looked at it tonight.

It will be interesting to see if anyone oput there has tried this on a RX-7, but I would like to know what wheel offsets they used.

    Good luck.

    I'm running R3S04 225-45-15 with no issues.
