MSD Ignition

Have starting problem with Mazda RX-7 1985 IT car.
Went thru ATF trick, flooding, drained fuel cell and new fuel filter, check spark on leading/lower plugs and plugs only fire occasionally, upper/trailing plugs fire continously.
Feel that MSD is malfunctioning, use rotor and cap for upper/trailing spark, lower is with MSD and 2 blaster coils, checked coils and they are good.
MSD is installed upside down and instructiuons specically state, "DO NOT MOUNT UPSOIDE DOWN". any other orientation is okay. Have checked wiring, need stock distributor set-up and any thoughts on or opinions now.
I would like to acquire a stock ignition set-up and if anyone has one to sell or can give me directions on set-up would be appreciated.

12a or 13b motor? I have 12a distibutors. if needed? let me know.
