The ones you see there are SpeedSource units. They make theirs out of plywood. I am 99% sure the ISC units are fiberglass.

We have both S4 and S5 units in stock (we make our out of plywood as well) and supply all brackets etc.

Drop me a line at [email protected] for details.

what do the natural composite versions look like? the same as hte ones in thephoto?

this is actually going onto a street driven car.

I can only dream of running ITS.

Also where on ISCRACING.NET can i find them... i have serached that site but can't seem to find the splitter i want. It says the splitters are made for 86 to 88 rx-7s but the ones pictued above are 89 to 91 variants.

About a year ago I called Speed Source about one of their splitters because they do indeed look cool. Then I asked how much it was So needless to say Charlie and I at KC Raceware decided to make our own. It fits early and late 2G bumpers and attaches using the original hardware that fastens the factory black plastic trim to the bottom of the bumper. It only costs $150.00 plus shipping and we can gelcoat it in a variety of different colors. I'm going to MAM this weekend for a race but when I get back I'll post some pictures.

Yes, I have pictures. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to get them to post here. If you email me I would be more than happy to send them as an attachment (I know how to do at least that).

I believe the SpeedSource splitters are made of Jabrock, an ultra high density plywood that is very expensive. I just had to replace mine and used 1/2" BC plywood for the "dive plane" and it looks fine. The spacers that lower it are cut out of 2x material. All that is easy carpentry; the key and the difficulty is that these units are attached to the car w/ 4 double-bolt brackets that are welded on. For a street car Nico's unit looks light, easy to install, and street stylish.
