2nd gen fuel guage sending info

Has anyone found a replacement fuel sending unit that allows the use of 'generic' aftermarket guages? Obviously this is for the factory tank...the Mazda unit has some whacky resitance values. I had a custom guage made with the factory values but it doesn't work like I want for short enduros.

i have an autopower gauge on my car for fuel level in the tank. the only problem is that it reads opposite(F is empty E is full. its not really a problem if you remember!!!
