    Default ITA Miata wheel/tire questions

What are some good choices for 14x7 wheels for an ITA Miata. I know about Panasports, but is there anything else that is light and cheap?

For tires, has anyone tested different sizes to see their effect on lap times? Among 195/55-14, 205/55-14, and 225/50-14, which is preferred?

Your other wheel choices, as far as I know, are Compomotive, Revolution, Circle, and Borbet. I don't know any exact pricing but I'm fairly sure they are comparable to the Panasports.
For tires, I would run the widest ones I could get under the fenders.

I don't think any of those make 14x7s anymore.

I don't have the motor to run 225s so I haven't tried them yet.

As for the 195/55 vs. the 205/55, the 195 definitely helps with the speed out of the turns and down the straight, but the 205 is faster through the turns and makes up for the gearing disadvantage and higher rolling resistance.
