    Default tranny swap

    Will the guts of the 626 fit in a 2nd gen case,i told the guy he was nuts or did i just eat my size 10 foot.

    The RWD 626 transmission gear pack will fit in the RX-7 case, but the imput shaft has to be machined a little. The gear ratios are a little closer and 5th is lower. This makes it a well known cheater trans.
    The miata trans can also be made to work...wow a 6speed RX-7....
