    Default Rotary Storage

Unfortunately, it looks like my budget for the year is spent. We bought a new house, unexpectedly, 6 weeks after the car was purchased. I've got a great, air conditioned, detached, 3 car garage to work on my race car that I can't afford to race now. Life's a bitch. But I digress.

It looks like the RX7 will be dormant until spring of next year. Any suggestions on prepping it for storage or car and feeding during storage? It has always been my understanding that letting rotary engines sit was a big no no. I'd rather not trash the Speedsource motor while it sits unused.

    Thanks for the input.

I would call SpeedSource. They have a few customer cars that they maintain that seem to sit for one reason or another. Some of their customers have gone Pro Racing with them, letting their IT cars sit idle. If anyone should know, they would.

Sorry to hear you're through for the year.
