    Default 1st Gen. Camber settings

Just wondering where a good starting point is for the Camber setting.....right now it is set at - 2.5 by the previos owner. And I don't have a pyrometer. Thanks.

2.5 is a good reference but you need a pyrometer and tire gauge to really set them effectively. Final settings will vary from track to track.

Balz has the right idea. every track is different, and tire temps will tell the story. No air pressure gauge, no temp gauge (not a probe one either), the you might as well be "hip shooting". Take notes too. Wasn't this on another thread?

Atually, Turn9 had an even better suggestion...TAKE NOTES!!!

Every event you go to you should keep a record of temp, humidity, jets, and tire pressures for the car. This will not only help you do setup on the car at the track, but it can help you setup the car for the NEXT time you run at that same track.

It's also a function of the tires you use. The old BFGs did not need as much camber as the Hoosiers. 2-2.5 is still a good starting point.
