    Default Early Rotaries

Hey Mazda gang.... Ok, so Ive noticed something. It seems to me that the early Mazda rotaries are no longer able to run at the front in ITA. Im not just talking about the first gen RX-7s, but the RX-2, 3, 4, etc. The last that I saw or heard of an early rotary being fast was in May of 2000 in NorPac where I saw a red RX-3 handily win ITA at Laguna Seca. Is it a matter of these cars being too old-school to compete, or is it more of an issue of attrition.. i.e. not a lot of cars left?? Any input you guys have would be great. Thanks!!

CRX. The end of RX- anything competitiveness. Lots of good cars still out there. That is the reason for the strong participation in spec RX7 and IT7 classes.
