For those who were interested, it WAS a blast. I got a 5 minute session, 2 qualifying laps, and then the 10 lap B-Main. Missed transfer to the main by about 2 ft, following a yellow that moved a car I had already passed back in front. MOved from 8th to 4th, getting faster every lap.

Left the AT in 2 and just hammered it. It would shift to third near the end of the straightds. Found that back off and just a little fling into the corner then right back on it seemed to work pretty well. NO trouble getting it to rotate, that's for sure. Tuning with tire pressures is the name of the game. I just need a bit more practice time to feel really comfortable. Fairly slow speeds, 22 seconds for a 1/3 mile.

There was a good deal of metal-to-metal. At one point I had shadow down the back stretch. Yes a Dodge Shadow that oversteered, then came back down and grafted onto my front fender. I fought him off for quite a ways until he peeled off before the corner.

The wife wasn't real happy with it, but I think I'll still go for a 60-100 lap enduro later in the year. Maybe that'll kill the car and this episode can be laid to rest.

But I think I'll also try a RallyCross with it later on. I really wanted to do dirt circle trackin, but the dirt track dropped the class this year, so rally cross sounds interesting. And it's later in the year, so it stretches out the season.
