Default When air temperature gets hot the power goes down.

We run a CRX-SI in ITA. Any thoughts from those of you who run in the heat of the South what to do. I feel the power is down when the air temp gets into the high 80s.
We blocked off the air intake from the heat of the engine and radiator.
Because we run in FP sometimes, we have to run 110 Octane fuel.

One thing we do here in Ohio during the dog days of humid days is we use a special intake gasket between the manifold and cylinder head, plus reflective tape.
The gasket is made from teflon and is about 58 bucks.
I have some if your interested. I don't make them, they are made for us.
***also, have you deleted your emission equip from the intake manifold yet? What about the tube from the back left corner of the head that goes to the throttle body? that is a preheater for winter or cold weather which heats up the tb.
There are some other things to look at as well.
Call me and we can discuss this, hopefully I can lend you a hand.
