Default Had an exhaust made for my CRX

Tell me what you guys think. Just a cheap $80 exhaust from a local muffler shop. Uses 2.5" piping with a single 2.5" Dynomax resonator. There was a thread on here a couple months back that sort of turned into a discussion on what exhaust setups work well on ITA CRX's. It seemed as though most used a similar setup to what I have now.

    Pictures can be seen here...

Exhaust looks good hope you don't run into problems with sound lever, it's going to be loud. Question why are you using the Koni lower spring perch with your GC sleeves? Or are the sleeves not specific for Koni's?

    jasonb,
Looks good and as DB2-R81 stated, throw out those koni lower spring perch(s). You don't need them.

I had a few question for you. On image 6
...is this a quick release used inconjunction with momo adapter? If so, where did you get it and how much? Also, are you konis shorten? Your car is lower than mine and if there wheren't shorten, are you having any problems with the shocks bottoming out?. Car looks great!

The exhaust is fairly loud. The only place I'm sure I'll have issues at is Laguna Seca. For that I may use a stock exhaust.

I am using the spring perch because the ground control sleeves are wider than the ring on the shock body. They came off of Tokiko non-adjustables. One of these days I'll change it, but until then it hasn't given me any problems.

Richy- what you see there is just a spacer to bring the steering wheel close to me. And yes, I do have the shortened Konis. I havent had any issues with bottoming them out. Only problem I have with them is some seepage from the top. I was told this is normal, but I didnt think it would happen after the first event. Guess I'll just have to monitor them and hope it doesnt get worse.

    Richy,
Contact Louis at LTBMotorsports.com about the quick releases. He's got several flavors to choose from that all bolt up to a MOMO hub.

The exhaust is a nice clean install. I will make a suggestion for reliablity. The hangers WILL break.
I suggest running some steel wire cable around pipe in order to prevent it from dragging if something breaks. I have a win and a national finish that I can give credit to the cable for keeping the exhaust off the ground and the steward's black flag off my back.

Thanks for the advise. I'll put that on the list of things to do to the damn car!
