Are you looking for a cage install, chassis update, engine work, what else?
I had most of the interior of my CRX stripped by my upholstery shop-because I did not have time and wanted to sell it undamaged. The cage came in kit form from KIRK to my fabricator, who installed it and the race seat along with some of the other necessities. He also did the body and paint, brake lines, suspension bushings and the custom instrument setup in the center console. I had the responsibility of buying all of the parts that we needed and also took care of removing the rest of the interior and sound deadener.
You can probably do a lot of the project yourself as I did. Welding a roof skin and doing the body is a specialist job along with the proper install of the roll cage. If you are near Pittsburgh-I can give you several excellent contacts (I'm going to be biased ). I'm sure there are a number of good shops that are reasonable as to their rates. Whatever you do-if jobbing this out be sure the shop has a copy of the GCR and ITCS in hand and and understands it.

I think that during the past year I have really spent a lot of my time "chasing" parts from Honda, Simpson, and other vendors. I also suggest that you find a dealer that has seats you can test fit. I went to OG Racing and bought mine after sitting in it for over 30 minutes and comparing to others on display. I even tried out several different steering wheels to find the one that felt right to me.

    Good luck and happy racing

Neither shop has an e-mail that I am aware of. If you are familiar with Penn Hills, then you want to contact Dave Zang. Drop me an e-mail ([email protected])and I'll give you his number. The other shop is in White Oak and he is generally booked months in advance.
The shop is unreal inside. He can do the entire project or what I had done. The cage will be fabricated as a kit and shipped for welding in. The sooner you hook up-the sooner it will be built. KIRK builds to order and you will have to allow several weeks at least. I will also add that he is not cheap-so the more you can do the better. If you want to see our car let me know in your e-mail.

If you call me I would be happy to quote you.
I have an 89 Si here at my shop now, if your interested to see my work. I refabed the cage and updated the engine and other things.
I am near Akron, and south of Cleveland.
I would be happy to give you referals as well, plus the owner of the Civic that was raced in ITA last year.
my phone no. is (866) 438-3966, I have plenty of time and the tools to fit your needs. I am an ITA competitor and know the rule book well.
