    Default Repacking front hub bearings

    Hey all;

    Continuing the thread on this area, a few people have mentioned re-packing their front bearings with synthetic grease. How do you do this without wrecking the seals? Does the inner race come out easily enough to remove it without damage?

    Thanks;

    I was just shown how to do it this weekend. The inner race just pops off with a bit of a tap on the inside seam going around the middle of the inner race. youll see its two parts. then just remove all the balls and spacers and regrease with hi temp synth grease with about the same amount of grease originally there. should last at least half a season, maybe a whole season, just check before every race and session when changing tires by listening for bearing grumble and smoothness. No hardened hubs necessary other than piece of mind.
