    Default housing crack

Another quick question. I recently noticed that my tranny developed a small leak around the drain plug housing. After further inspection a small hairline crack was discoverd (from he-maning the plug on I guess). It is cracked all the way through so I used some JB weld type stuff to seal it up. It works ok, but am just looking to see if any other possible fixes are out there.

    Thanks!

The JB Weld will work fine for years, ever so often, look to see if the crack is expanding, but I shouldn't. There is no need to get that thing welded for that kind of crack.

JB Weld is the amature mechanic's best friend..
