    Default Anyone use PF Carbon Metallic 83 compound?

    Continuing my habit of finding discontinued brake pads (I've exhausted the worlds supply of Hawk Blacks in the FMSI 373 pad), I see that Pegasus has a sepcial on "83" compound pads for my car.

    Are these in any way comparable to Hawk Blues?

    Has anyone used them?

    You could always switch to 88-89 calipers if you really want to stick with the blacks. I don't believe they're being discontinued for my car...
    Did you talk to racerpartswholesale? I think they make their own pads using the hawk compounds, and they have the 90-91 calipers listed as an application for all compounds

    Well, yeah, I know all that.... but I'd rather use $41 pads than $110 pads!

    I got my Hawk blacks for $36 a set.
