Default 87 Prelude Si for ITB???

Since the Accord is moved up to ITA, has anyone thought of building a 87 Prelude Si for ITB. Has anyone developed one enough to be competitive? Is it a weight problem? Perhaps aged suspension? Not enough HP? Give me some feed back.

Peter Keane mentioned that the old Carb'd 84-87 Prelude would be an excellent ITB car... He said that the dual Carb was the problem and that OPM has a nice fix for it.

    Is p.keane out there?

I do think the Prelude would be a good ITB car. The problem with the Prelude is simmalar to the Accord, you will have to do all of the development youself (expensive). The Prelude is lighter then the Accord, but it is carberated. On the other hand if you looked at this months Fast-track you see the Accord is not dead yet in ITB, it is on life support in a thunder storm.
