Default Gauging interest - IT wheels for Golfs?

I'm curious if anyone would be interested in some of these...

...in a 14x6 to fit any Golf or GTI. If you could get them for less than $150, would you order any? I'm thinking bulk shipment from Italy.

PS - I have an official request in but early info suggests that they run about 11 pounds.

Ah HAH! It seems that if you log in as a VW Golf, you don't get to SEE the Kosei 14x6! Damn Honda-centric aftermarket...

By the way - 9.3 pounds.

Now - someone refresh my memory about the differences between centerbores on Honda and VW products. Is there a chance that the Kosei isn't listed for VWs because it's too small for the centric hub?

    Kirk,

HINT: Perform the search for a 1984 Audi Coupe GT....they are the same hubs as a VW....and Audi's use the 38mm offset

I searched under Golf GTI 1985 and found them 4 month ago but the first set took 2 month to get and the second took another 3 weeks, so if they don't have them just place your order and let them back order them.
They come with plastic center rings for the vw, get rid of these rings and have Walt Pucket make you some aluminum one.

Bildon Bill found this one, too...

Only $59 and 13 pounds. I paid that much for some of the use OE alloys that I've accumulated, once shipping was included.

Centerbores of select 4x100 wheels (If memory serves me right)

    VW 57.1
    Honda 56.1
    Toyota and Mazda 54.1

Most aftermarket wheels are much larger and have adapter rings to suit any of the above.

I know the Borbet "C" wheels that I used to run on my ITB Rabbit GTI had rings that fit inside the hub of the wheel, to better fit the hub of the car.
