    Default Wheel Offsets

I picked up a set of 13x6 wheels with a 13mm offset - this is like having a 1" spacer on 38mm offset wheels I think.. my buddy who helps me with my car (ITB A1 Scirocco)thinks it will stress the wheel bearings too much. Any thoughts one way or another? thanks

The real question is how much space do you have between the inside of the tire and the inner spring.

Balance that with how close the outside of the tire is to the fender lip.

I have to do that with my 20x8x13 slicks on my GP Wabbit. I have a couple of sets of wheels, with different offset's, so I have a couple of spacers I use, depending upon which wheels I'm using up front. This is only an issue on the front. Rears don't usually have a clearance problem since we don't run camber plates on the rear axle hehehe

I do have the shims on the rear do get about 3/4 degree of negative camber.
