Default NEED HELP QUICK! Need centering ring for Bilstein Strut

I bought some Bilstein sport struts (part#P30-0032) from a guy on the board (cant remember the name) and the stock centering ring is to small for the Bilstein. Where can I get these rings so that my mechanic doesnt kill me for tieing up his lift for another week? I need to get these on Monday or Tuesday.

    Thanks!

Mike, is this for the upper bearing? or the adjustable spring perch. These are for the front sturt, not the rear shocks, right?

You are correct. These are front strut inserts. I left a message for a guy at Bilstein to get the part number so I can order it from them, but havent heard back from him.

I talked to someone at Bilstein. The part numbers are 450770 for an external threaded front strut housing, and 450781 for an internal threaded front strut housing. So, is an 84 VW Rabbit GTI stock front strut housing internally or externally threaded?

GTI came OEM with external threads, while US Rabbit of same year came with internal. Chances are that they've been swapped out at some point, though. Should be able to tell just by pushing up the dust cover and having a peak. BTW, external are much better to work with, and, if I recall, some inserts won't even fit in the internal style.
