    Default Recurved distributor

What are the pros and cons of running a recurved distributor? Is there more to it than just changing the advance spring?

Bringing the same advance in sooner seems to help torque and throttle response. It's just a lighter spring, as I recall.

Your pretty much going to be above the curve rpm wise anyway, so I don't know how much it'll help. I never run under 3500 rpms on the track, so the advance is full in anyway.

So may I ask why BSI is asking $109 to recurve a core? What kind of advance spring can I use - can't be that expensive to do myself...

We need some dyno information to know conclusively.

Max hp vs. rpm vs. spark advance.
