    Default Update to digi

    I have a extra 89 jetta and was thinking of updating my 86 cis golf
    Is anyone else doing this yet?

    All I really know is that Digis are harder to tune and to get the best performance out of it you will need to put in some modifications to the ECU sensors. The Digis tend to run pretty bad at higher RPMs.

    One good side though is that the intake doesn't have any 90 degree turns so it flows better.

    Our experience has been somewhat different that D_Bat's. 2002 NYSRRC champs. 2 cars, both winnres.

    I have a Digifant chip you can use to help with higher RPM. As well you can make a digifant fuel enrichment module. But I just have to read up on the fuel mapping to try and trick it. I know Ill have to add the proper relay for the CTS and O2 sensor....
