    HI ALL WAS WONDERING IF A 79 SIRACCO (SPELL) IS COMPETIVE IT ITC ANYMORE? OR WAS IT EVER REALLY? LSO COULD U PUT A 1.8L IN IT AND RUN ITB? WHAT IS THE BEST ITB - ITC CAR TO RUN NOW? THANKS GLENN

    To answer your question, a Mk I Scirocco 1.6 is probably one of the cars to have in ITC. They are consistant winners/front runners.

    And no, you can't put a 1.8 in it and run it in ITB.

    Thanks Bill, sorry about the caps my dad cant see that well and when i write to him i leave them on! Thanks what is the min weight and can u remove the pass. seat now sorry dont have 2003 GCR yet thanks Glenn

    Weight for an ITC Scirocco is 2040#, with either of the 1.5s or the 1.6. And yes, you can remove the pass. seat.

    thanks Bill, so a Rabbit is still lighter to run i think those are 1980lbs? but is the scirocco better iI mean lower Coffecent of drag? thanks again Glenn

    Glenn,

    Both the Rabbit and the Scirocco will run up front. I believe the Scirocco weighs more to make up for the better aerodynamics. Both will run up front in ITC.
