Default Help with Datsun 510 carbs on a VW 8V??

I have a set (3 of course) weber carbs. I was wondering if they will fit on a VW 8V motor?

    Thanks

What type and size are the carbs? I have a manifold from an autocross car that accepts 2 Weber DCOE dual-sidedrafts up to a certain size (can't remember right now). An ice racing buddy uses a manifold that mounts 1 DCOE on his Rabbit GTI, and it seems to work GREAT! There are also plenty of manifolds that mount 1 dual-downdraft (some stock, some aftermarket), but I have yet to see a 2 dual-downdraft setup for a Rabbit (or anything for 3 carbs).

The dual carb setup for the VW is dual 40 DCOE's.

Thats what these ones are except there is an extra. I guess it wasnt a 510 maybe a 300 or something. Anyways the carbs are 40 DCOE.

    What are they worth?

    Thanks for the pic

These were most likely on a 240Z if there were 3 of them.

eBay Auction # 2408683405 opening bid of $300 for 2 ea 40 DCOE's brand new. Reserve not met

another one on eBay # 2408603603 current bid is $102.51 for a used pair. Very short velocity stacks.

You can get a dual DCOE manifold for the 8v engine from Demon Tweeks in England for a very reasonable price.
