Default weber jetting dcoe 45 bmw 2002

need to solve my problem.car doesn't pull to 7000rpms.have no misfire. 2000cc motor 45dcoes 15/8" header stock exhaust from collector back.290 schrick 9.5:1 cr fully ported head msd ignition 46x38 valves.Specs for carbs are as follows. 36mm venturies,f16 emulsions,55 idle,45 pumpjets 50 bowl jet fuel pressure 4.5 at idle and drops to 3.5 when running 32 degrees total advance. Car pulls strong to about 6000 only Ive been teched out by a guy named steve at top end performance and he said that is what he runs and it pulls to 8000 no problem. anybody out there know what is up by personal experience I bought several items off the guy but every thing seems to not work and the guy keeps selling me overpriced stuff

I'm thinking a good baseline which should get your motor running well would be to start at:

    38mm chokes
    145 main jets
    F16 emulsions
    180 air correctors
    40 pump jets
    50f9 idle jets
    4.5 aux vents

oh, one other thing, is your cam timing set properly? Because you seem to have the carb set about right by the looks of it.

What I want to know is how you got valves that big into the head??? There's not 5.5mm between the valves.
