    Default Wheel Bearing tools

    Does anybody know where I can purchase the VW tools used to install wheel bearings and hubs? I'm looking for the tools that are used with a press.

    What we use is an old race that you take to the grinder and take off a few thousands. Do that for the inner rear, outer rear, and front and you have what you need.

    We freeze the fronts before putting them in and use a manual press with no problems. Now sometimes the fronts don't like to come out but that's when you get the BFH.

    OTC makes a tool that removes and installs the front wheel bearings with the hub still on the car. I think it sells for around 300.00.
