It's not so much that it will buy you any more hp or not. It's more a function of helping keep the car from leaning out at the high end.

BTW, there's a little trick that you can use to make the car run a little better. Wire up a toggle switch inside the car to control the FTE. Then, when the car is warmed up, and you're on the track and getting ready for the start, flip the switch. This will make the fequency valve run at 65% duty cylce all the time. Make sure you turn it off if you're in the pits, or you will load the thing up.
