    Default BoD Meeting Date?

Can someone tell me that date of the BoD meeting when they are going to discuss and approve/disprove PCAs and subsequent reclassifications? It's time to start thinking about '05, and I'm in limbo until that's done...

I don't know the exact date, but was told today that the meetings are in two weeks... I'm sure it won't be long after that that the information will be released, so we'll let you know what's happening as soon as we have been authorized to tell...

    Kind of exciting, really...

Will they likely rule on the 15" wheel allowance as well at that time? That really is messing with my plans as I have a coupon for almost free tires that is coming up on expiration and I need to determine what wheel I will be running next year pretty darn soon....

Is there a 'deadline' for input to the BOD for each meeting ? Some really annoying/dopey stuff in the July & August FasTrack that begs for input/comment, but I haven't had time to put it all down on paper (or 1's and 0's) yet.

Short version: SCCA Pro needs to be dragged out back and flogged, repeatedly. They're 'tone-deaf', at best.

Any feedback, rumor, innuendo to be shared yet? Did the meetings happen? Inquiring minds want (and need) to know! Please!!

    Beuhler? Beuhler? Anyone?

Certainly if this meeting happened, and reclassifications and PCAs were voted on, someone on this board (ITAC members?) knows what happened.

Can someone please give us some enlightenment instead of making us wait until the December Fastrack...?

    Greg,

The meeting happened, as the ruling on the Prod cages has been made public. I'm curious as to why we haven't heard anything yet, unless the AC's are under a gag order.

I'm aware of no gag order.

I've heard some things, but until they are absolutely confirmed I'm personally not going to spread rumors. Others may have rock solid confirmation, but I don't.

Ditto... I've heard some things, but until it's released publically, I'd rather not spread rumors...

Killing you?? To B or not to B?

Ehh, I'd rather hear nothing then something that might not be true.

I heard that the meeting will need to be continued in Feb. due to a lack of time and too much beer from people trying to bribe the board. I should have know that sending the Sam Adams distributor truck would have been excessive!

How about: anxious to hear something that is rock solid confirmed. Just like you.

For me, it's "To A or to Spec Miata."

I've got a Nissan engine in pieces on the bench waiting to be carried to the machine shop for prep *OR* a set of hand tools ready to begin stripping a Miata in my driveway. I'm Simply waiting for the word from the Comp Board to decide which way to go.

    What's it gonna be, boys?

    GregA,

I know what it is like. Rather than wait, start the build on the SM. If things work out (in IT) like you wanted them to, you can always sell the SM. If they don't, you'll have a good start on the SM.

I know some will call it going to the dark side, but nothing says you have to stay there.

No chance of that Dave....sorry! (I don't think it was even on the agenda. Actually if I am correct, nothing {a class move, a weight break or anything else} regarding the RX-7 is being considered.)

    Jake,
Are you sure he wasn't referring to moving the Prelude to ITB??? I seem to recall something about that on our agenda... We received a couple of letters in favor of our proposed reclassification of the car, so I'm pretty sure it was announced in Fastrack some time ago...

Sorry guys... but I'll try to get some more information and find out what has happened. Based on PRE-BoD meeting conversations with the CRB and a few BoD members, I believe the ITAC had good support. We'll let you know as soon as we do. If it's all good news, it will be worth the wait, and if there is some bad news, then it might let you live happily for another few days before the frustration sets in!
