    Default Mazda effort in Grand-am??

With the success of the new Renesis 13B engine and the RX-8, could we see a new 3 or 4 rotor engine in a Daytona Prototype in the Grand-Am Rolex series in the future. There has been some speculation about a full Mazda effort in 05' in a GT car (not Speedsource) but not much news regarding a Daytona Prototype. What thoughts come to mind regarding a 3-rotor or larger Mazda engine in a Daytona Prototype? It would be great to see another engine manufacture in the class...not to mention more Japanese rivalry. Ford vs. GM, Porsche vs. BMW, Toyota/Lexus vs. Mazda???

Not likely, as roataries are specifically not allowed under DP rules.

That doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool!

Too bad. A rototater might've made that class more interesting to me.

    What's wrong with this formula?

France family + rotary = DP

Answer: The advance in technology is far too much for the family to contemplate. It also could lead to people asking questions which would threaten the control of the family.
