    Great! Any engine that has steps that go into the crankcase is a big engine, If that thing ever throws a rod, you better run for cover!!

    wow....how do they start it???

    It probably requires a Catepillar engine that requires compressed air to start that!

    I like the first picture's caption, installing the "thin-shell" bearings. I'' hate to see what "thick-shell" bearings look like.

    Brings REAL meaning to "Powerstroke Diesel". These engines don't run on the No. 2 diesel you put in your diesel powered pickup truck. It is sometimes called "bunker fuel" and is taken out of the cracking unit just above the tar stage. I love this stuff, it must be the gearhead in me. Thanks for the link!
