6 cly camero

i ahve a neighbor i have been trying to lure from the dark side. (drag racing an oval stuff) who wondered why there were no v6 cameros listed in IT. Has anyone ever tried to get one classified. fact or opinions welcome.

Depending on the year, I would think it would be an interesting choice. There is already a V6 Mustang listed in ITS. BIG car to have banging around IT!

The '96-'01 V6 Camaro is listed in SSB in the '02 GCR. The '96 is old enough to qualify for IT, someone should request that it be classified. Since it's an SSB car, I imagine it would land in ITS.

This may not be any help, but SF Region has an ITE class. I have seen at least 3 Camaros decked out with rear diffusers and all sorts of aero work.
