    Default New Site Status

    Wed
    - Tested the migration from old Forum to Temp Forum. Success but for a few '05 posts that were lost in 2 categories.

    - Installed and configured "shell" for the new site. Looks good. Ready for data dump of 60,000+ posts !

    Thursday
    - Rolled back to old Forums for a few reasons. One is that we should be able to recover all the missing posts from '05. Also, we don't feel we got all the member info converted over properly the first time.

    - Stay Tuned....

    Don't beat yourself up over this. Anything like this is a monumental task, and something is always going to bite you when you least expect it.

    Sorry I dont know the exact term to use. What I meant was to be a part of the discussion boards like "bargain shopper" as a example.

    Actually, if we had strict rules, bumping would not be allowed. If someone did try to bump, well, they wouldn't be bumping anymore!

    Wait until you see the new site.
    Some of your concerns/requests will be moot at that point.

    - New Forum "shell" installed.

    PM - Will migrate users.

    Sunday
    - Will begin to make it "pretty" and add soem of the mods that will make the site more useful.
