Funny, my homework was never quite like this...

(Age specific references could be worse - we could be quoting "School's Out" by Mr. Cooper)

Oh yeah....I'm so old I can't recall the next line. But at least I know who it is and what VH is supposed to sound like.

Not old enough to know if the original IT rules allowed one to remove the 8 track?

So what year was Mr.Cooper's Schools out for summer released? Who'd name their son Alice?

** So what year was Mr.Cooper's Schools out for summer released? **

    Um, '72 or '73 I think.

I was in junior high then, and remember hearing it on the school bus radio.

Wow, it's that old? I wasn't even born yet! And here I am listening to it in the 80's thinking it was brand spanking new! LOL... time does fly. Like today at Moroso talking to a new competitor who has a faster car than mine, and I'm talking about the "old" configuration, back when I went to driver's school in 92... yikes! I still remember that weekend, but most of them in-between are just a blur of motors whining.

Wow! Marcello, you still read this board? I was just reading your posts over at C-C.com and wondering if this was one of the 4 racing only forums you still read...

Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled discussions...

Yeah, believe it or not, this is one of them. Although I don't post too much here, as my views are not in line with a lot of other's here, and I really don't want to get into a heater core discussion every other week.... (one of the reasons CC is great. If you don't search, you are banished!) I do post a bit in the Ford section, but keep other opinions to myself, unless I'm just in one of my moods !

    Later,

Quickshoe - the next line is "Got it bad, got it bad, got it bad, I'm hot for teacher." Anybody remember the car in the video? As for the illustrious Mr.Cooper, golf playing fool that he is now - I was in fifth or sixth grade when that came out as I recall... memory fading... must get help....

The song came out in 1972, the same year he changed his name from Vincent Damon Furnier. The "got it bad" comes from a Van Halen(?) song.

No, it's not just you Jake. I spent half the morning trying to get at the Mazda radiator info so I can order an upgrade.

I can certainly understand technical difficulties, but I wish someone would explain what's going on.

Man, I'm starting to understand what a drug addict goes through during withdrawal! I think the shakes are the worst part. And I kept hearing Sting in the back of my head, singing "I want my damn IT"...
