Default New Forum Option: Tow Vehicles and Trailers

This topic has come up numerous times, and people have had some very interesting discussions. Since towing/trailering is a large part of racing, and we have such an interest, maybe we can have a forum/section dedicated to it. I believe the "Bargains" was a great addition, this one may be another.

I too have many towing related questions, but where to place them here is sometimes trciky.

Just a thought, post if you like/dislike.

This idea went over like a fart in church...so, here is yet another tow question.

I have a good lead on a 1998 Ford E350 with the 6.8L V10? Does anyone have any input (positive or negative) on the V10 for reliability, power, etc.?

Thanks in advance for any input.

I guess it depends on what you tow. My trailer is over 3200lbs empty, probably well over 6500 loaded. I towed it once with a buddy's F350 with the V10 and it was ok, but with a heavy trailer I noticed right away it was way down on power (torque really) vs. my powerstroke. His is an automatic and I have a stick BTW.

If you pull an oper trailer or light weight enclosed I think it would be fine.
