Search Function

[Speed Raycer]

What's needed to get the search function working properly? Do we all need to buck up a little for some added hardware???

We really do need a functioning search engine on this site so that the same questions don't get asked over and over again, or that we can research stuff that we know we've seen addressed previously.

I've just completed a search of Competition Adjustments and came up with ONE thread about Brakes.

CAN WE PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! HAVE A FUNCTIONAL SEARCH?????

Who runs this site? Where do I send my check? If all it takes is money, I would think we would be able to squeeze it out of the notoriously cheap IT community for something as valuable as a useable search function.

Hmmm, I searched for Volkswagen in the .... Volkswagen forum and got a quite a few hits.

I then checked for something generic like park plugs and found results.

What forums are you having trouble with?

Well, I just tried it with a post that I originally made with keywords just for the search engine.

The post is:

Using the search term "DOM" and searching only in Tech, only 4 hits were returned and all 4 were from 2001.
